Wednesday 7/2, Thursday 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, 8/28 from 3-5pm ET (Skip week of 7/28)

This 8-week course is for writers of all levels looking to unblock their creative brain and get words on the page. Through in class exercises, optional homework assignments, one on one workshopping of long form pieces, a magical mystery box of supplemental reading and listening recommendations, and more, you’ll find a sustainable writing flow that will allow you to generate work like you never have before. Whether you are totally new to writing or have a manuscript you’ve been chipping away at for years, this class will provide what everyone with a story to tell needs and craves: inspiration and accountability.

You'll be in good hands. Ruthie has worked with hundreds of writers to turn their ideas into narrative gold. Her clients have gone on to become USA Today Bestsellers and have received major non-fiction book deals with Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, and more.   • This class is best suited for those working on memoir, creative nonfiction, and personal essays.

  • Writers in this class will be ready to work consistently and be eager to learn.

  • Classes will meet on Zoom for 2 hours per session.

  • Capped at 8 students

  • One 15-minute (optional) and one 30-minute, 1:1 with Ruthie to discuss your work, any challenges you’re coming up against in your writing and to get inspired. Ruthie also will offer editing support for your piece.
